Two Unforgivable Mistakes

Writing an MLA paper can be challenging. The first time you write an MLA paper, you’ll probably make a few mistakes. In fact, it would be surprising if you didn't make at least a few mistakes. Most mistakes are fixable; you will simply be told to correct your mistakes and resubmit your work. As long as you correct them by the final deadline, your grade will not be affected.

There are two mistakes, however, which are “unforgivable.” They are inexcusable because they are considered cheating. These mistakes are:

1. Plagiarism
2. Academic dishonesty
