Introducing the Weekly Schedule

How many points should I have by now?

The answer to this question can be found on the Weekly Schedule page of this website.

Click on the button at the top of the page to jump straight to the current week. You'll see a table that looks something like this:

Week 4 (Example Only)

Points Assigned (This Week)

Total Points (To Date)

In the top row, you can see how many points I have assigned for that week.

In the bottom row, you can see the total number of points that I have assigned since the beginning of the trimester.

The bottom row—Total Points (To Date)—is always the same as the denominator of your grade on Synergy. In other words, it's the total number points that an A+ student will have earned by the end of the week.

The Start of the Year

If you look at the actual schedule for this week (Week 1), you'll notice that I'm expecting you to earn 141 points by the end of the first two weeks. That is because this introductory unit is worth about 141 points. If you finish this Introduction by the end of the second week of class, you'll be right on track.

Of course, the beginning of the year is filled with many uncertainties, so if you fall behind, don't worry. I will help you catch up.
