Google Workspace

SFUSD gives every student a Google account and a Synergy account.

Your Google account gives you access to a package of apps called Google Workspace. This package includes:

• Gmail
• Google Drive
• Google Docs
• Google Slides
• Google Classroom
• and more

In this lesson, you'll learn how to find your Google Workspace.

Lesson Steps

1. Open up a new browser tab and type Google into the search bar.
2. Login to Google with your Gmail address and password.
   • Your Gmail address is the same as your Synergy username, except that you add @s.sfusd.edu at the end of your username.
   • Your Google password is the same as your Synergy password, except that it's not case sensitive. (You don't need to capitalize the first letter of your password.)

3. The waffle is where you will find all of your Google apps.

   Click on the "waffle" in the top-right corner of your browser window. (The waffle is the 3x3 grid of dots that looks like a waffle.)

You should now be able to see all the apps of your Google Workspace.
