Google Drive

Your writing portfolio—like all your files—lives on your Google Drive. (A "drive" is a place where computer files are stored.)

In this lesson, we're going to make sure that you can find the writing portfolio that you created in the previous lesson.

Lesson Steps

The icon in the red square toggles between List view and Grid view. List view is often more helpful.

1. Close all your browser windows. (We want to start from the very beginning.)
2. Now open up a new tab and go to the Google waffle.
3. Open your Google Drive.
4. Click on the List view icon near the top-right corner of your browser window. (See image.)
5. All your files are listed alphabetically.
6. Find the Google Doc titled
   • [Your Name] (Writing Portfolio)
7. Open the file and pat yourself on the back.
