Two Sentences Together

When the speaker says two sentences (or more), put the end quote at the end of the last sentence.

Luke said, "It's too late. We should go home."

Here are some more examples:

Doug said, "The dragon is dead. The magic is gone."

Misty said, "I'm hungry. Let's order a pizza."

Sherman said, "It's raining. I'm going to get my umbrella."

He said, "The aliens are ugly. They stink, too."

She said, "I don't care. I still love him."
