Are your topic sentences as strong as they could be?

1	Did you put the "new" or "interesting" information at the end of your topic sentences?
2	Did you omit all the needless words from your topic sentences?
3	Does the evidence in your paragraph fulfill the expectation that is raised by your topic sentence? If not, either change your topic sentence or find a new piece of evidence.
