Three Common Mistakes

Here are the three most common mistakes that I see in middle school writing:

	Mistake	Example
1	Failure to capitalize the first word of a sentence.	you'd be surprised at how many students make this mistake.
2	Failure to put a period at the end of a sentence.	This is another common mistake
3	Failure to capitalize proper nouns. Proper nouns are the specific names of people, places, or things.	My name is brenda. I go to presidio middle school. Last year I went to france.

For each sentence, fix the mistake(s).
