This course covers the Common Core Standards for English Language Arts. Major units include:

I accept late work until the last week of the grading period.

Bring the following things to class with you every day:

Whatever book you are currently reading (for independent reading).
A computer mouse. (Recommended but not required)
- A computer mouse something like this.
- A mouse case something like this.
- I do not recommend a wireless mouse, as kids tend to forget the usb in the computer.
- Can you afford two mice? Consider donating one to the class!

1	Raise your hand. Don't talk out of turn.
2	Treat others with courtesy.
3	No cell phones, iPads, or other electronic devices.
4	No eating, gum, candy, or drinking (except water).
5	No computer games.
6	Stay in your seat.
7	Never throw anything. Clean up your own mess.
8	Don't leave before the bell.
9	Don't sit behind the teacher's desk.
10	Follow the teacher's instructions.
