Grades are weighted as follows:

Classwork 50%
Quizzes 50%
Points Grade
90–100 A
80–89 B
70-79 C
60–69 D
0–59 F

Homework

I do not assign homework. However, I do encourage every student to study English at least 30 minutes per day (outside of class). You can read a book in English, or you can review the English lessons that we are doing in class.

Tests / Quizzes

I rarely give tests, but I do assign a lot of quizzes.

Late Work

I accept late work until the last week of the grading period.

Rules

1 Raise your hand. Don't talk out of turn.
2 Treat others with courtesy.
3 No cell phones or other electronic devices!
  • Chromebooks are for classwork only.
4 No eating or drinking!
  • No food, gum, or candy.
  • No flavored drinks. (Water is okay.)
5 No computer games!
6 Stay in your seat.
7 Never throw anything. Clean up your own mess.
8 Don't leave before the bell.
9 Don't sit behind the teacher's desk.
10 Follow the teacher's instructions.
