Quizzes | 50% |
- Classwork includes Typing Club, Reading, Speaking, and Listening.
- Quizzes include Vocab quizzes, writing assignments, and extra-credit slips.
Points | Grade |
90–100 | A |
80–89 | B |
70-79 | C |
60–69 | D |
0–59 | F |
- If you want to raise your grade, please come see me during lunch. I can give you a make-up assignment.
- I do not accept make-up work the last week of the grading period.
Homework
I don't assign a lot of homework, but I do expect you to try your best in class. If you don't complete the classwork in class, then of course you're going to have to finish it for homework.
Tests / Quizzes
I rarely give tests, but I do assign a lot of quizzes.
- Quizzes can be taken as many times as you like, and only your best score counts.
- Quizzes can be re-taken at home.
- All quizzes are "open book". That means that you can ask a friend for help, or you can use your class notes or Google.
Late Work
I accept late work until the last week of the grading period.
