To Fallujah B Cri de Coeur

The history of bombing is 93 years old

It was in 1911 that Lieutenant Giulo Cacotti

Flew his monoplane from southern Italy

To the Oasis of Tagiura, in North Africa

And threw a Danish Haasen hand grenade

From his window onto the 600,000 Arabs below

B No one will ever know how many were killed

Because no one ever counted

Then came Chechaouen, in northern Morocco

Guernica, capital of the Basque country

London and Coventry, in England

Liege and Antwerp, in Belgium

Dresden and Hamburg, in Germany

Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in Japan

Cities in Korea, Indochina, Afghanistan

Baghdad B and now you, Fallujah, in Iraq

Welcome to the Club of the Scarred Soul

We are those who have experienced

The ultimate blasphemy of all times B

Hell invading the Heavens

And pouring fire over God=s creation

For you, as for us, the axis of hope

Vertical throughout time, in all cultures

Has been unnaturally reversed

Safety, once in Heaven, is now in cellars

Sin B distance from God B is in the skies

All who have a human heart bleed.
