Dazed
Four days immersed in evil
Reading Michael Ruppert=s book
Crossing the Rubicon*
Indeed the U.S. has crossed it B
Corruption, drugs, crimes, fraud
Secrets, lies, traps, false testimony
Money running government
Abrogation of the constitution
They=re all there, signs of an empire
Staving off its inevitable crumple
Rotting from its amoral core
Relying on a scarce resource
Of which the end is in sight
Poor United States of America
Desperate to hide its weakness
Behind bravado, arrogance
Ruthlessness, war, torture
Disdain, contempt for all others
Intent at all cost to be the last
To use the last drop of oil
Prepared to kill billions
To be the last to change
Its profligate way of life
9/11 was its first audacious feat
To ward off a defiant implosion
Star wars methods tested
On its very own people B
Only some 3,000 killed
How many more next time?
It is not that oil is scarce
It is that we are too many
Biological weapons are ready
Software will target the victims
This, as I am waking up from
The nightmare of World War II
Trying not to see cars as tanks
Bombs in the sky, people as killers
But my war was child=s play
Compared to the explosion
Of suffering the privileged
Intend to inflict on the rest
During the coming decades
Of Homo petroleus= demise
My friends query me blandly
ADid you enjoy Thanksgiving?@
Then, self-satisfied, volunteer
AWe spent it in Las Vegas@
AI drank tons of wine!@
AThe food was too rich!@
AI ate a little of everything
But it was still way too much!@
AI like the holiday. We have
So much to be thankful for!@
I return home to my mail=s crude
And pushy glossy paper screams
ASpecial Thanksgiving Sale!@
ABest Ever Holiday Deal!@
AShop now for Christmas!@
AYou are the lucky winner B
Call us now, immediately
To retrieve your prize!@
AOpen this envelope
For a gift credit card!@
... A credit card ...
A little bit of oil in my hand.
