Welcome to the 1st annual ISA Geo Challenge!

  • This test is optional.
  • The test consists of 137 Do Now Riddles (all the riddles in our Do Now book).
  • It is NOT multiple choice. You must actually type in the names of each country. Spelling counts.
  • The winner will receive a trophy and a $100 prize.
  • There can only be one winner. If more than one student gets 100%, a tiebreaker will be held the following week.
  • Any student in the Regular Geography course who scores 90% or higher will get an automatic A+ for the semester. Students in the Honors Geography class can substitute this test score for any 2 other test scores.
  • The test is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday May 5.
  • The test will be held in the computer lab during 2nd period. If you are not in Honors Geography, you must arrange with your 2nd period teacher to miss your 2nd period class on that day. If you would like me to talk to your 2nd period teacher, please let me know.
  • Space in the computer lab is limited. Therefore, you must RESERVE your place in this competition. Students who are not strong contenders may be "bumped." What this means is that if you have not proven yourself to be a serious geography student, I may ask you to take the test after school, instead of during 2nd period.

Good Luck!
