Grammar Test
This test consists of 100 questions randomly selected from a pool of 200 questions. The questions ask you to identify the following kinds of phrases: prepositional, gerund, participial, appositive, infinitive, and absolute. You are also expected to know the difference between simple, compound, and complex sentences, and you should be able to identify the following subordinate clauses: adjective, adverb, and noun. To study for this test, review the grammatical terms found on Grammar Bytes. You might also find the following Grammar Review helpful. This review is a Word document that can be viewed or downloaded to your computer. PLEASE NOTE: This document is a work in progress. It is currently about about 120 pages, and while the first hundred pages or so are fairly "finished," the ending is still in rough draft form. |
